Carmen Bogan is the author of the picture books Willis Watson Is a Wannabe, Granny Who is God?, and the duo Where’s Rodney? and Tasha’s Voice, which both feature a class trip to a park—the best park ever!—as well as the impact that a day spent in nature has on two very different children. Carmen grew up in Compton, California, and lives in the San Francisco Bay Area, where she writes, advocates for family literacy, and hangs out with her grandson, Logan.
