The Jo Jo Makoons series of books—written by Dawn Quigley and illustrated by Tara Audibert—is filled with the joy of a young Ojibwe girl discovering her very own special shine from the inside out. Tara Audibert is a multidisciplinary artist, filmmaker, cartoonist, animator, and podcaster. She owns and runs Moxy Fox Studio. She is of Wolastoqey/French heritage. Dawn Quigley, Ph.D. and citizen of the Turtle Mountain Band of Ojibwe, ND, is an author, educator, and former Indian Education program director.
