Judy Chicago is a world-famous artist, author, and educator. She has exhibited all over the world, received five honorary degrees, published sixteen books, and written a free, downloadable K-12 curriculum for The Dinner Party. In 2018, she made the Time 100 list and was inducted into the National Women’s Hall of Fame in 2021. That same year, she had her first career retrospective at the de Young Museum in San Francisco and, most recently, a major solo exhibition at the New Museum in New York. In 2003, she read the first book in the Maisie Dobbs series, and since then, she has followed the heroine’s adventures, taking great pleasure in such a vivid female character.
