Manuela Soares is the Director of the MS in Publishing Program at Pace University and Director of Pace University Press. She has worked in both magazine and book publishing as a writer and editor, including Managing Editor at Scholastic and Senior Editor at Rizzoli International. She has written several books, among them, One Hand Clapping and The Joy Within. Her short stories are published in two anthologies.
